Celebrating Juneteenth is necessary for Blacks in America because it celebrates our freedom and sheds light on the opportunity those freedoms allow.

 

Celebrating Mr. and Ms. Juneteenth is just as necessary.  Honoring Mr. and Ms. Juneteenth brings awareness to those in our community who are using their opportunity in a way that supports the betterment of the Greater Kansas City area.
